 July 17 Most people do not like the idea of getting old.  But I have a friend who likes that - chronologically, not biologically. He reasons that if he gets senior citizen status, he will get many benefits, discounted tickets for some travel (KTM, Rapid), entrance tickets, and also special "angpow" money for "old people" from govt. Adaptation is a necessary skill to stay healthy and get best of what stage of life a person is in.   Physical adaptation: This includes the body's natural adjustments to stressors like physical training, as well as changes made to accommodate disabilities, such as home modifications for mobility or the use of assistive devices.   Psychological adaptation: This involves adjusting to the psychological and emotional impacts of illness, disability, or loss of function.
