World Cancer Day -

The C word is scary to most if not all.  A new friend, just passed away last evening, around 7 pm.  He was only 50 years old, from Colon Cancer. When it was detected in August 2024, it was already stage 4.

Can cancer be cured?  (I mean to medical professional, the term should be Prolonged or persistent Remission)

Yes. If you need some convincing evidence, please do join Relay For Life event.  There will be a large number of cancer survivors attending, in case you do not have any such "lucky" persons in your circle of life.

What factors contribute to "BEATING" the Big Scary C?

Early detection and Appropriate medical treatment give you best chance/science.

There are things we can't choose in life, ie who my parents are, which kindergarten/primary school I went to, and what illness I eventually I will die off, and how fast/slow I die.

But, there are also life choices that will contribute to how much chance I can circumvent the Big Scary C, whether in getting it, or after getting one, how best chance to beat it.  Ask any AI engine,  they should tell you a life game plan.  In case you want to chat with a real life doctor,  come, join me in tomorrow 5 pm walk at Strait Green Park, Seri Tanjung Pinang, Georgetown, next to Stonyhurst International School.

Invitation for next month walk too!
