Benefit of PREVENTION

" An Ounce (gram) of prevention is worth a Pound (Kilo) of Cure."

 

I like benefit, dividends. Do you?

During school days, did you like Tuition?  Extra classes?  Additional home work? Like most, I did not quite enjoy the actual experience, in my primary school time.  When I went to secondary school, I was older (ya, everyone knows that, I imply I became wiser), I would go to look for tuition for those subjects that I was not so good at.  Did you do that?  

Looking back, I certainly prefer the Extra Classes, Tuition, Additional Home Work, than failing exams, resit exam, or changing my "Dream".

 

Tamiflu to Flu, is like resitting exam, comparing to Flu Vaccine.  

Flu Vaccine prepares us to face the "exam/test" of influenza attack, so that we would reduce the chances of failing the test.

Each year, around May-June period, I get my Flu shot.  And about 3 days ago, my wife is down with Influenza A symptoms, yesterday, confirmed by test, and started on 

Oseltamivir (Tamiflu generic)

 and she is still miserable. 

 

 Of course, there are many students passing examinations without tuition, just as there are many people/patients exposed to Flu virus without being down with Flu. 

But just like the Quotation on the top of this post, 1 Gm= or > 1 Kg, doesn't it sound like good investment? Esp, when I think that I am not so great in that subject.

 Yes, I am still well, because of the TUITION the Flu Shot gave me.  Finger Crossed - Touch wood.  Incubation period not over yet.  

But, I would like to label my immune system as SMART IMMUNE System having gone THRU FLU HANDLING TUITION, and successfully passed the challenge test.

If I catch Flu later today or tomorrow, I will write about it in next week post, about vaccine protection rate, vaccine failure. 😅 😁😆    .
