Reading: A Good Habit
Reading is a gateway to knowledge, imagination, and personal growth.
It enhances vocabulary, improves focus, and sharpens critical thinking. Books expose us to diverse perspectives, fostering empathy and understanding. (If we read Ben Carson's book, you will know that it was reading that transformed his life).
However, choosing the right books is equally important. Quality literature—whether classics, well-researched non-fiction, or inspiring biographies—enriches the mind, while poor choices may waste time or misinform.
(Yes, the right choice of books mattered to Ben Carson too, he had a wise mother, it was said that she was illiterate, yet, she required him to wrote weekly book reports for her!)
Reading wisely broadens horizons, while mindless reading offers little value. By selecting meaningful books, we ensure that our time spent reading transforms into lifelong learning and intellectual enrichment.
