Most if not all of us have heard about the benefit of daily 10K steps, and many would have made some adjustment ie getting a smart watch to track, or setting a time to walk.  But some of us, due to the many demands of life, just find it too hard to reach that target.

(By the way, if I walk a not so leisure, but also not so hard pace, ie 4km/hour, how long (minutes/hours) would it take me to complete 10K steps? Take a guess -- or easier lah, ask ChatGPT/DeepSeek/Other AI platform). Find the answer at the bottom.

Recently, a renowned medical journal published an article about a lower target that will benefit us who find it too hard to achieve 10K steps.

Yes, you heard it right.  By 7000 steps a day, we will reap lots of health benefits.

But for those who still find achieving this a challenge, no worries, any thing above 2000 steps/24 hours, already brings some benefits.

We need to be patient with ourselves.

Even a baby does not get up and run. He/she starts with turning the body, then crawl, then the so called baby steps.

How LONG?  How much time?  Yes, it is approximately 1 hour and 40 min.  That's probably a bit long for most people, I reckon. But as the sayings go, how do we eat up an elephant? One Bite at a Time.  So, also, how do we achieve 10k steps per day?  One step at a time - Be patient.
